Zariya Foundation

  • The Zariya Foundation was created in 2010 in Switzerland, followed by the Zariya Trust in India, and by a tax exemption scheme in the US. It intends to raise up to $ 4 Mio. to finance the making of a major motion picture based on the vision and key messages of Mother Teresa.
  • Apart from the cost of production, the film is a non-profit venture, and the film proceeds will go to charitable institutions and foundations that work for the poor, the sick and abandoned or handicapped children.

The assurance and advisory company Ernst & Young has been retained as auditor of the foundation and film production company to ensure complete financial transparency.
